Aussie Felt Hat - Etsy。This is an elegant hat. In Sydney, both men and women are seen wearing these hats, dressed up with jeans and a lovely blouse. When travelling to Alice Springs before going on to the \"Outback\" it becomes a necessary \"working persons\" hat. The fabric is quality felt that is shaped into a hat. It goes through additional processes as well as hand stitched bands and beautiful feathers for the finishing touch. .These hats are also available in other styles that are offered, I\'ve enclosed the card that was in the hat where you can read the \"care instruction\". This card was conveniently tucked in the ribbon band on the inside. Australians do take these hats seriously. The heat from the blazing sun while in Uluru can knock you right off your feet as the temperature is over 100 degrees. Those who did not invest in a hat were wearing any piece of clothing they could find to wear on top of their heads. An Aboriginal person was working in the store and was wearing the hat that I purchased. They do not have their photos taken because they believe the camera steals their spirit. My salesperson was so very accommodating and covered her face and so the photo was taken with her. The shop also offers custom made hats if you are going to be in Sydney for a few days.
