Attractive Blue and Pink Color Scheme - Palettes 。This is one of the most treasured vintage hats from our collection: It is a Paris designer fedora in pale blue felt, with matching grosgrain edging, band and trim, plus a matching long veil trailing at the back. The most striking feature of this hat are the two allegedly \"flamingo\" feather wings (we were told they were flamingo feathers, but we have no way of authenticating them) at the front of the hat. The wartime 40’s saw a huge variety of hats that were suitable for any face shape, hairstyle or personal preference. Throughout the war & on both sides of the Atlantic, elaborate creations brightened dreary utility fashions, brought about by rationing. The only items not rationed were hat materials. Explosions of feathers, veiling & artificial flowers were popular.
