Wearable Art! Artistic brutalist chain belt Signed Joseph Boris. Undulating, organic curved metal ( nickel and brass) forms in the shape of a flower and oceanic sea kelp are contoured to fit the waist with a long connector bar chain for an adjustable fit with hook closure. Hand signed on back and dated 3/92. We would wear over a long, slinky black jersey dress, creating the perfect backdrop for the artistic aesthetic of this piece. Brutalist era defines by big looks, somewhat of those from classic Hollywood glam era, yet redefined by the use of a more “Natural approach” I bought this belt from a boutique in Stockbridge MA about 20yrs ago. -Condition: Very Good Used Condition -Estimated Size: Small/Medium/Large -Material: Metal -Closure: Hook Measurements -Belt Length (End-to-End): 40\" -Length (Sculpted Portion): Approx 20” -Width (at Center, Widest Point): Approx 3.5”
