Vans Women。Old Skool In 1977, an iconic shoe was born, which somewhat defined the future appearance of Vans. For the first time, we can see today such a well-known and significant stripe on the sides of the sneaker, which has become the hallmark of the brand. In the \'80s, it became increasingly popular to personalize things like shoes and accessories. Maybe with an ordinary marker. This led Steve Van Doren to the idea of creating a version of the Old Schools in a colour combination with lots of different materials and layouts that reflect the individuality of their wearers. Vans has always drawn on the creativity of artists and flourished on their willingness to go beyond Van\'s universe. In the \'90s, thanks to the collaboration with the Marc Jacobs brand, which belongs to the sphere of haute couture, the Old Skools managed to indulge in releases in premium materials, top patterns and especially in a small edition of limited editions. Shortly afterwards, a long-standing friendship with the Supreme began, which continues to this day. In addition to skaters and graffiti artists, these specific Vansky also liked punk rock bands, which brought incredible visibility directly from the stages and spread awareness about them throughout the USA.
